If you’d prefer to take dancing instructions from a private studio, meet with a few dance professionals beforehand to get a sense of professionalism, experience and overall atmosphere. Many studios will let you sit in on a teaching class first to see if you’d feel comfortable. Find out how long the dance studios have been in business, what their hours are, what their specialties are, and what their availability is. Also, inquire about class times, teacher name, instructor experience, price, group rates, couple classes, and kids’ classes. Research the studio background thoroughly as well, making sure the studio you ultimately choose has considerable experience in dance instruction. You can also look into schools, church halls, and community centers for dance instruction lessons. Before choosing a dancing instruction course or studio, keep in mind the studio’s availability, specialties, cost, directions, class times, location and experience.
